Function

Sets the tone pattern index used in sgtnu, sgtnv, and sgtnr.

Explanation of Parameters

itpat

(I)

The tone pattern index (Initial value is 1.) 8.1.4- See Section 8.1.10.

Notes

(a)

ITPAT must be larger than 1. When itpat is 0, a message is printed, and no other steps are taken.

(b)

The validity of ITPAT is not checked in this routine. It is checked when sgtnu, sgtnv, or sgtnr is called.

(c)

The current tone pattern index can be inquired by

itpat = NumRu::DCL.sgqtnp().
